Here's some pictures of the glass ornaments I decorated...
I used oil based sharpie markets (they work the best on glass, and have a very paint-like feel). It took a little while to get used to drawing on a curved surface, but once I got the hang of it, boy these were fun to make. Every one is a little different, and they come in various color. So far there are clear, white, red, green and blue ornaments...with various color scribble prints. I really like the lacy look of the white on the clear (in the picture above that one is resting on a scarf my mom made...I think they look just lovely together).
Here you can see some ornaments set up on the tree at the Mix.
Here's one of my Scribbleprint Star ornaments.
I love how it looks on the tree.
Anyways, if you're in the Waco/Hewitt area...I'd love it if you'll come come out and check them out! And you might want to try one of The Mix's incredible quiches while you're there. They are DELICIOUS! You can find The Mix at 803 N. Hewitt Dr in Hewitt, TX.
And if you aren't in the area, you can still get 10% off ceramic ornaments at my Zazzle shop with coupon code ORNAMENTDEAL through 12/31/13!
