If you've followed this blog you probably know that I have a shop through Zazzle where I sell printed items with my art. One of the things I sell there is business cards.

But my "business" cards aren't just for business. I've used them for pregnancy announcements, scripture cards, bookmarks, and more.

I love browsing Zazzle to see all the creative uses others have come up for these too...and even made a squidoo page all about the creative business cards I found.  What's cool about Zazzle cards (in addition to the fact that they're created by hundreds of independent artists), is that most are completely customizable. That means you can put your own photo on the back of a cool artistic design you found, or change business cards into a baby shower keepsakes, wedding or baby registry cards, save the date cards, party favors, gift tags, and more! Aloha Friday - Help Me Pick New Business Cards

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday!   With Aloha Friday I ask a simple question for you to answer--nothing that requires a lengthy response. 

For this Aloha Friday I wanted to ask your help with something.  Zazzle has a 50% off coupon on business cards, and I was going to get some new business cards my shop. But I'm pulling my hair out over design details...little nit-picky things that drive me nuts!

One World One Heart & Other Giveaway Winners

I had so much fun taking part in One Heart One World! This was my first year to discover this fun blog giveaway and get to know each other event hosted by A Whimsical Bohemian. I enjoyed visiting all the blogs (ok, not ALL of them, since there were over 1,000 and I just couldn't get to all of them) and entering for some beautiful and unique artistic prizes--whether I win a thing is irrelevant, because it was a joy just to explore.

On this blog I was giving away the winner's choice of one of 5 different rectangle magnets from my shop. I was amazed at the response--130 entries! That's the most I've ever had for a giveaway on my site. I picked the winner using Random.org...and, da dah da dahh, it was: Cathy Horner!

I had another giveaway ending here the same day, for a round "Byron's Lady" poetry magnet and some hand-made soap by my friend at Pampered Escapes. There were 80 comments in all, and the winner was commenter #40: Dovile.
